Multiple Currency support
| Each reservation is assigned a currency - choose your default and then override with others as required. This is targeted at those that have bank accounts for each currency and track payments in that currency. |
Payment tracking & scheduling
| Record payments with payment method, entry date, cleared date, reference and notes. Set up your reservation payment schedule and use status reports to summarize what's due now, soon & overdue. |
Integrated Credit Card processing (prefilled form)
Credit Card & PayPal payments are recorded straight into the system. Send a secure link to your guest so that they can log in and complete the pre-filled form online and make the payment directly - you enter nothing. You and the guest are emailed a confirmation of the payment and it appears in your reservation. View and print a receipt as needed.
At this time, eComm (the MyVRZone preferred provider) and Costco's merchant account provider (Nova/MerchantConnect/Viaklix) is supported in addition to PayPal's business account credit card service. |
Customizable reservation options
| Define the optional items that you provide to your guests per property - record the rates and taxes for each as well as showing them on the reservation confirmations automatically. Taxes are calculated automatically from a pre-tax amount or a post-tax amount. |
Customizable tax tracking
| Define the taxes that apply to your rent and options independently as appropriate so if some items have different taxes that apply this can all be calculated and tracked. You can always override the tax amount after it has been added automatically if needed. The Tax report shows any splits. |
Custom reservation information entry/tracking
Everyone has different management styles/processes and provides different amenities for their guests. Use the custom reservation information to record items such as Door and Alarm codes that may change per reservation or over time as well as items that you may wish to record such as whether you have received ID from a guest or if the reservation is cash-only. These items are up to you to define and can be used in customizable letter templates (Platinum Plan) and can be collected on the Booking Form for each reservation.
Items that change over time can be set on a schedule and automatically assigned to reservations - for example, the alarm codes may change each month so set up that schedule and reservations can be assigned the correct value automatically. |
Track guests independently of reservations
| Each guest is stored independently of the reservation. This means you can assign the same guest to multiple reservations quickly as well as record notes about the guest that follow them to each reservation they have. You may want to remember that they had made some comments that you'd like to know about if they ever booked again. |
Record a whole Guest List per reservation
| Have the guest enter the names and age ranges of each of the members of the group in the online Booking Form - you don't need to type them in. The ages ranges are configurable and produce Infant, Child and Adult assignments. The guest list can also be entered manually of course! |
Personal Mini-site (up to 12 photos)
| If you don't have your own website then you can point to your own unique MyVRZone page to display your description, up to 12 photos and availability with contact information, a request and feedback form. There are no advertising links and no links to other properties. |
Integratable forms (Request, Booking, Feedback)
MyVRZone provides validating forms for all guest input - integrate them onto your own website or use them via the Mini-site.

- Booking for making a reservation committment (this can be turned off). Custom Info fields can also be added to collect additional infomation.

Email/Print letters from pre-defined dynamic templates
Use pre-defined dynamic templates to communicate professionally with your guests. Dynamic templates allow you to send letters with a consistent style that are specific to each guest or reservation. The template is dynamic in that special tokens in the text are replaced by real information that comes from the Reservation, Guest or Owner.

24/7 secure online access to Guest Zone™ for reservation & payment information
Guests can get online access to information about their reservations at any time. Using a secure link and logging on they can:
- view reservation status
- view payments made
- print payment receipts
- see payments due
- make online payments

Language Translation (adds Mini-site and Guest Zone)
| Allow visitors to view your Mini-site and Guest Zone in a foreign language with automatic translation. This includes the Booking Form and their view of the Reservation status. |
Upload files to the Guest Zone™ for guests to download (eg. Directions)
Allow visitors to view files on your Mini-site and Guest Zone depending on the stage that their reservation is in. For example, provide a directions PDF file when the reservation is fully paid up, or more payment directions when Pending.
You can even use tokens and conditional text in TXT and HTML files to create things like Parking Permits or printable contracts etc containing guest info.
Direct links to the files can be included in any email if you want to provide it directly. |
Keep your door lock entry codes up-to-date automatically
If you are using ResortLock or eRentalLock locks for your vacation rental, then have MyVRZone fetch the codes for you automatically. If you change the arrival or departure dates or times then the lock code will be updated - you'll never forgot to do that.
The lock code is treated as Custom Reservation Information and is automatically inserted into your arrival letter template - you don't need to do anything manually. |
Set thermostats and record temperature history with Vera home automation
With the Vera Home Automation system at your vacation rental you now have a "switch" for occupancy status that is automatically set - use that to help control your scenes.
There's also a flexible, VR-specific, thermostat controller that will help you save energy as it knows when the property is empty and can make adjustments to set-points to drift them back to the owners desired settings.
The temperature history is recorded and displayed in your account with each reservation. Default heat/cool set-points can be overridden per reservation if you want to make a base adjustment for a particular stay (groups from Canada may prefer it cooler than those from Mexico) |
