Vacation Rental Management for busy people!

VRSync Multi-way availability synchronization

What is it?

Take your property availability from multiple sources (advertising sites, iCal feeds) and merge them together to make one global "Net Availability". Then update destinations (advertising sites, your website, iCal feeds) with that Net Availability.

What happens when a new reservation is made?

When one of the sources adds a new reservation, the system will detect that change and add it to the merged Net Availability.

What happens when a reservation is deleted?

When one of the sources deletes a reservation, the system will detect that change and remove it from the merged Net Availability.

What happens if there are conflicting changes?

If the system detects that the changes from multiple sources result in a conflict (overlapping bookings or it's not clear whether a reservation should be deleted or added) then the owner is notified by email to resolve the difference manually.

What happens if I use use online booking at the HomeAway sites (Book It Now)?

When you get an online booking at a HomeAway site, the system will recognize that the booking is being managed there. A new booking will be entered into your MyVRZone account and marked such that it can only be changed by that HomeAway site. A change in booking status at the HomeAway site will be noticed and the reservation in your MyVRZone account will be updated (eg change in status or check-in/out times).

Setting up and running the synchronizations
