You can choose how your Pending and Confirmed reservations are shown in other calendars when synchronizing.

To change the settings, go to  the "Setup>Main >> Accounts" tab and then select the settings next to the following fields:

• Show Confirmed As
• Show Pending As

NOTE: For cases where the calendar being synchronized to cannot show the Pending state, it will be shown as Unbooked.

Do you have a listing site and want to synchronize to MyVRZone calendars?

I offer an advertiser-independent service to my clients where I centralize their VR calendar updates and my server pushes any changes out to the advertising sites that they want to keep up-to-date.

This benefits both the Listing site (providing up-to-date availability) and my clients (they do not need to manually update the many different listing sites).

ResortLock and eRentalLock provide keypad locks that only let guests in if the current date/time is within the date/time encoded into the keycode that they enter. Nothing ever changes in the lock except the current time and the keycode can be generated separately - once installed you don't need to touch it again. The keycode factors in the unique serial number of your lock so it will nto work on other simila ones.

The lock providers offer an online way to generate the code - you log in, enter the dates and times and a code is produced for you. You would give this to the guest.

If the system is telling you that it cannot synchronize the calendar because the identifiers are incorrect and you know that they are correct (it's worked before) then it's likely that HomeAway have changed their update procedure.

The choice of Up-to-Date calendar is very important here. If you wish to take advantage of the benefits offered by entering your reservations directly, then set this field to MyVRZone. If you wish to use an existing HomeAwayConnect (Rentors.org) calendar as the up-to-date calendar then set this field to HomeAwayConnect (Rentors.org). All Gold and Platinum Plan subscribers must use MyVRZone as the up-to-date calendar.

Switching from HomeAayConnect (Rentors.org) to MyVRzone

Automatic synchronization occurs overnight between 1am and 3am Eastern Time (GMT-5hrs). If the MyVRZone calendar is not in sync then either the calendar ID is incorrect or the calendar synchronization has been disabled in the setup. Try the following:

MyVRZone can automatically synchronize a HomeAwayConnect (rentors.org) calendar to itself and/or it can synchronize out to other advertisers. Here's a guide for choosing the right one for you.

The system needs to know the login info for your account at each advertiser as well as how to identify your particular property there in order to do this.
